Shower like a KING, Kings of Rock-N-Roll that is, with a fresh, clean, stimulating scent of eucalyptus, zingy peppermint and refreshing lemongrass.
Mammy's Soap Co. is located in McNairy County Tennessee, just off of Rockabilly Highway (US 45). Rockabilly Highway is named for the region's unique brand of "rockin hillbilly blues" which paved the way for rock -n- roll. Rock pioneers such as Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash cut their teeth performing in local venues as they crisscrossed the county in search of their own voice. Presley and Perkins met for the first time at one such performance in Bethel Springs, Tennessee, just down the road from the current location of Mammy's Soap Co. Perkins made the first recording of his illustrious career a few miles farther south in Eastview, Tennessee, and the fearless deejay, Dewey Phillips, the first to play rockabilly and rock -n- roll music over the airwaves, hailed from Adamsville, Tennessee in the eastern part of McNairy County. Mammy's Rockabilly Soap expresses a creativity using an old fashion soapmaking method, with a fresh, clean scent and the colors of Rockabilly. "Ya get up in the morning and turn the shower on", Elvis Presley, Didja Ever.
We handcraft our soaps using the slow cold process method, in which no external heat is used, preserving the natural ingredients as much as possible.
Each bar begins with coconut oil, olive oil, sustainable palm oil and shea butter. We use house made essential/fragrance oil blends that are always paraben and phthalate free.
Each soap is sliced fresh from the raw loaf. It's approximately 1" thick by 3.5" wide and 3" tall, resulting in an approximate net weight of 5.75 ounces.
Your soap will arrive wrapped by hand in a biodegradable film and labeled.
