American Man Artisan Soap is a classic barber shop scent complete with a red and white striped pole out front, leather barber chairs, fresh aftershave and a whole lot of "talk". Vibrant bergamot and fresh basil leaf, complimented by earthy notes of oakmoss and white patchouli combined with fresh essence of bay leaves with the bright orange peel and zest round out this classic, never going out of style scent!
We handcraft our soaps using the slow cold process method, in which no external heat is used, preserving the natural ingredients as much as possible.
Each bar begins with coconut oil, olive oil, sustainable palm oil and shea butter. We use house made essential/fragrance oil blends that are always paraben and phthalate free.
Each soap is sliced fresh from the raw loaf. It's approximately 1" thick by 3.5" wide and 3" tall, resulting in an approximate net weight of 5.75 ounces.
Your soap will arrive wrapped by hand in a biodegradable film and labeled.

No, cold process soap does not contain lye. Lye transforms completely during the saponification process and becomes soap.
How long does a bar of handmade soap last?
Once you begin using it in the shower, a well-cured, standard-sized bar will generally last an individual 3 to 4 weeks with daily use, kept in a well-draining soap dish.
